Project Manager for International Trade (Parental Leave Substitute)

We are in an exciting phase where we are developing our services and activities within international trade. As the Project Manager for International Trade at the Chamber of Commerce, you play a central role. You will have daily contact with our member companies regarding export and import issues, and you will participate in both internal and external networks. Our operations are broad, and the organization is flat and agile, offering you as an employee great opportunities to influence and contribute.
You will:
- Visit our members and export companies throughout the region.
- Be part of project groups with external parties and engage in dialogue with various partners.
- Monitor the external environment, plan, and manage events, communication, and training within international trade.
- Be responsible for and plan our Shipping Network, 5 meetings per year (inviting speakers, booking visits).
- Coordinate and sell company-specific training and consulting assignments.
You will work closely with Anna Högberg (Chief Financial Officer) and Anneli Forsman (Project Manager for Trade Documents), both of whom work closely with our member companies on trade documents and services related to international trade. The location is Norrköping, with travel within Östergötland, Sörmland, and occasionally Gotland.

- Has experience with events or project management, e.g., networks.
- Has experience with business, laws, and regulations within international trade.
- Enjoys contact with member companies and stakeholders.

- Are curious, unpretentious, and solution-oriented.
- Are structured and keep order even when the pace is high.
It is meritorious if you:
- Have experience within customs/export.
- Are comfortable speaking in front of groups or visitors (sometimes on a small stage or in front of a camera).
- Have experience with trade documents.
- Are accustomed to working in a member organization or network environment.
We assume that you express yourself well both orally and in writing in both Swedish and English. That you have a driver's license and access to a car.

Employment Terms
- Employment type: Parental leave substitute as Project Manager for International Trade.
- Scope: Full-time.
- Location: Our office in Norrköping, with travel within our region.
- Start date: September 1st or as soon as possible thereafter. The substitute position initially extends to November 30, 2027.
- Östsvenska Handelskammaren is affiliated with collective agreements.
